A little about me

Building with purpose

I am Lohitashwa Madhan, a third-year Software Engineering Co-op student at McMaster University, graduating in 2028. My interests lie in full-stack development, backend engineering, AI-powered applications, and real-time systems. I am currently a Machine Learning Researcher at RBC Borealis, where I apply machine learning to medical imaging.

Through multiple hackathon participations, I have built and shipped full-stack projects under intense 24-hour deadlines. I enjoy turning ambitious ideas into working products that are both practical and impactful.

I am currently seeking Summer 2027 co-op and internship opportunities in full-stack development, backend engineering, or product-focused software engineering roles where I can contribute, learn, and grow.

Redesigning McMaster’s Hatch room booking dashboard as part of a 7-person MES website development team, designing responsive UI components, booking flows, and modals in Figma using auto-layout and standardized design tokens.
Developing reusable UI standards for input forms, booking status components, and Lucide icons, creating a consistent design system for front-end implementation.
